Laser Clay Shooting 

Requirements

• Laser Clay Shooting is suitable for anyone aged 10 years and above, making it a great option for families, friends and mixed age groups. 

• The activity takes place outdoors within our covered shooting area, so while you are protected from direct rain, suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear are recommended for comfort in all weather conditions. 

• No previous experience is required. Laser Clay Shooting is suitable for all ability levels and, as long as you can comfortably hold the weight of the shotgun, you will be able to take part and enjoy the experience. 

Equipment

We use professional equipment supplied by Lasersport International, the leading provider of laser clay shooting systems in the UK and the world. The shotguns are real deactivated firearms that have been expertly converted to fire a harmless infrared beam when the trigger is pulled. This allows participants to experience the authentic look, feel and sound of traditional clay shooting, without recoil or live ammunition. Clays are launched in the usual way using an automatic trap, creating genuine moving targets and a realistic shooting experience.

Each gun is wirelessly linked to a fully computerised scoring system that instantly detects and records successful hits. Scores are displayed live on a large digital scoreboard, allowing multiple shooters to compete at the same time and adding an exciting, competitive edge to every round. The system is highly accurate, reliable and safe, making it ideal for beginners, experienced shooters and group events alike. 

Included in your experience

A 60 minute Laser Clay Shooting session begins with arrival and registration at the Clubhouse, followed by a warm welcome from your instructor and a full safety briefing. You will be shown how to handle the shotgun correctly, how the scoring system works and how to track and aim at moving clay targets.

After the briefing, you will take part in guided practice rounds to build confidence and develop your technique. Once everyone is comfortable, the session moves into a series of fast paced and competitive shooting games, with multiple players able to shoot at the same clay and scores displayed instantly on the digital scoreboard.

All equipment is provided, including converted shotguns, clay launch system and fully computerised scoring system. The session finishes with a final friendly competition, giving everyone the chance to post their best score before returning to the Clubhouse to relax and review the results. 

Availability

Laser Clay sessions are available seven days a week. Standard time sections are at 12:00 and 13:30 but please do contact us if you need a different time or are looking to combine the activity with other activities.
