Treasure Hunt Terms and Conditions

The following terms & conditions apply to Stratford upon Avon Treasure Hunts run by Adventure Sports Ltd.

The payment is non-refundable apart from in the following circumstances:

  • If any changes are made we can refund the payment but only if we are notified at least seven days before the date of the session.
  • The Treasure Hunt is cancelled due to extreme or dangerous weather conditions (these can include: thunder storms, heavy snow, heavy rain and freezing conditions). Adventure Sports will attempt to contact all attendees provided that we have the correct contact details.

Refunds will be made on the next working day.

Please arrive 10 minutes before the allocated start time.

If one or more members of the group are late it may not be possible to incorporate them into the group after the treasure hunt has started.

Please note we are unable to accept liability for any errors resulting from data which you have entered incorrectly.

 

Others Bits & Pieces

Adventure Sports Ltd. is not liable to any losses or damage to clothing, footwear or personal effects. It is the responsibility of any participant to inform the event manager if they have any illness, disability or injury. Anyone aged 16 years + can take part. Participants are responsible for their own safety throughout the treasure hunt. Hazards can include: traffic, canals, rivers, members of the public and other team members! Participants are responsible for their own actions throughout the treasure hunt. Laws and regulations should not be broken and participants should behave in a responsible manner – Stratford is a public area. Teams will be equipped with a digital camera during the treasure hunt. If a camera is lost or damaged the group will be invoiced for a replacement.

Clothing Advice

You will be outside for most of the event. Wear clothing that is suitable for the weather conditions on the day. Flexible and comfortable clothing and sensible footwear (trainers are good). A waterproof jacket is always a good idea just in case it starts raining.
